I had been bothering OZ1AA for about 6 months to be in Texas by May and I'd figure out a way to get him to Dayton. Well, he didn't make it to Texas in May...he had to make a trip home to Denmark for family reasons, but he was going to be in Costa Rica in mid May, so thanks to the generosity of fellow contesters, we were able to raise enough $ to get him a ticket to Chicago! So I planned a road trip for after Dayton with stops at several ham QTHs and other things. What a fantastic time! I think we both wish we had 3 or 4 days.... there was just so much to do and see. Next time.....

WRTC 2014 & ARRL Centennial
What a fantastic 2 weeks of road tripping and ham radio! WRTC was by far the best ham radio experience in my 28 years of hamdom! What a superb job done by the organizers! The only downfall was that pinhead of a bartender that closed up the hotel bar at midnight when there was still 100 people in it.... twice. Big mistake.

It seems as though the QRZ folks are a bit uptight. I don't think they've ever seen a woman in a bikini before. Apparently they equate that to "nudity" or "porn" according to their own "standards", whatver that means. Hopefully this will meet their "standards." Lighten up QRZ!
